Come join the spring celebration with the Shehaqua community at the Spring Gathering at Camp Shehaqua, May 18–20. Spend time with friends you haven't seen in a while, enjoy quality time with your family, and meet new friends! As the cold winter months fade away, we look forward to new beginnings and changes. Take time to self-reflect and make new goals. Experience God's love through fellowship and nature.

We will be facilitating discussions about building strong relationships with God, with our family, and with our community at large. In the afternoon, participate in or cheer on those running in the "Adventure Race," a team race through camp including many obstacles and challenges. Crafts and volleyball will also be offered as alternatives. The Spring Gathering will be staffed by Kyra Moyer, Melissa Manor, Seijin Tranberg, Francis Marchitelli, Luke Scazzero, Kolya Moyer, and Sunkook Iwasaki. Early Bird special ends April 29. Arrival on Friday, May 18, at 7pm (no dinner included) and departure on Sunday, May 20, at 1pm (after lunch). For fees and more details visit the Spring Gathering Fees page.

Prizes

The first-prize winner will receive a check for $100. The second- and third-prize winners will each receive a free Shehaqua T-shirt.

Choosing a Winner

All submissions will be shown to a group of judges composed of members of the Shehaqua Council, Shehaqua Operations Team, and a number of additional volunteer judges.  Additionally, all designs will be posted on our Facebook page and the public will get a chance to vote for their favorite designs by liking them. (The artist will remain anonymous, so this will not become a popularity contest.) The Facebook votes and the judges' votes combined will determine the first, second, and third place winners.

If you are interested in being one of the judges, please send an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. However, you cannot participate in the contest and be a judge at the same time.

The time has come again for this year's annual Harvest Festival hosted by Camp Shehaqua! It will be co-hosted by Denthew Learey and Gabby Hochmuth from September 15th-17th! This event has always been my personal favorite amongst the Shehaqua events, because it comes with such a rich spirit and atmosphere. There's something so special about being bundled up in a warm flannel in the natural, cool air with some good company.

The Harvest Festival has the perfect atmosphere for personal reflection, gratitude, and a whole lot of fun! This year we'll be hosting a live band with square dancing as well as many other festive games and activities that are fun for the whole family! Come and enjoy this year's Harvest Festival with us, and kick off the Autumn season the right way! We will be looking forward to seeing you there!

Hi all,

If you tried to register for camp today or yesterday, you were unable to do so because the registration part of our website was not working. The reason was that our web hosting provider changed some security settings without informing us. The issue is solved now, and registration is working again. We apologize for any inconvenience this caused, and thank you for your patience. We are extending the Early Bird deadline by two days, so you can register and pay until midnight of June 2 and still get the Early Bird fee.

Thanks,
The Shehaqua Family Operations Team
