Winter Retreat Fees Going up after December 13! Register Today!

Hello friends and family! We hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season. As the Winter Retreat approaches we want to encourage you to register for the program if you have not done so already. We have lined up some great speakers: Danso and Laura Sawamukai will educate high school, Naokimi Ushiroda will do the young adult group, and Anne Cantrell will prepare material for the adults. Come be inspired and participate in scavenger hunts, sports, and exciting group activities. The numbers of current participants is pretty low, so we want to encourage you to register now and to let others know about the event as well. Unfortunately, we may have to cancel the event if we do not have at least 50 participants registered by December 13th. We would love to see the retreat take place, so we need your help to spread the word! Hope to see you all soon.

Have You Already Nominated Yourself or Someone Else for the Council Election?

Our yearly Shehaqua Council Election is coming up in February 2016. Six out of the nine Council seats will open up, and they will either be filled by present Council members running for re-election or new candidates like you. Please consider nominating yourself and running for election. We need fresh ideas and new energy! This is a special opportunity to serve the Shehaqua Family.
