Shehaqua Council Meeting at Philadelphia Church Center

Eight members of the Shehaqua Council met at the Philadelphia Church center for their annual Council Summit on Saturday, April 8. Council Facilitator Mike Stewart had prepared an ambitious agenda and guided the council in a productive discussion of topics as varied as marketing for Family Camp; new educational approaches; having more people of other faiths come to our camp; and how to find more people willing to serve on the council. The two newly elected members, Felicitas Moyer and Denthew Learey, jumped right in and immediately felt part of the team. The meeting finished around 4:15pm, and the council enjoyed a meal of Philly cheesesteak sandwiches together before parting and driving off in many different directions, some with a drive as long as 4 hours ahead of them. Thank you Shehaqua Council for all your investment!
