Come join the spring celebration with the Shehaqua community at the Spring Gathering at Camp Shehaqua, May 18–20. Spend time with friends you haven't seen in a while, enjoy quality time with your family, and meet new friends! As the cold winter months fade away, we look forward to new beginnings and changes. Take time to self-reflect and make new goals. Experience God's love through fellowship and nature.

We will be facilitating discussions about building strong relationships with God, with our family, and with our community at large. In the afternoon, participate in or cheer on those running in the "Adventure Race," a team race through camp including many obstacles and challenges. Crafts and volleyball will also be offered as alternatives. The Spring Gathering will be staffed by Kyra Moyer, Melissa Manor, Seijin Tranberg, Francis Marchitelli, Luke Scazzero, Kolya Moyer, and Sunkook Iwasaki. Early Bird special ends April 29. Arrival on Friday, May 18, at 7pm (no dinner included) and departure on Sunday, May 20, at 1pm (after lunch). For fees and more details visit the Spring Gathering Fees page.

This year, the Spring Gathering wants to help you gain Spiritual/Emotional, Financial, and Physical freedom! Experienced presenters will share on aspects of Spiritual and Emotional, Financial, and Physical well being. Whether it's creating a healthier body, or a healthier marriage, we'll be talking about how to live our best life for ourselves and God. Presentations are geared towards high school through adult, but don't worry, there's plenty of fun for the whole family!

Laurel Nakai has come on board as the children's coordinator. Young kids will have a chance to take part in games and activities, and have a fun and safe place to stay while mom and dad check out a few of the sessions.

Shehaqua Spring Gathering: Friday, May 15 – Sunday, May 17
Director: Tasnah Moyer

Spring has sprung! Time to shake off the winter blues, all that stress from shoveling and being cooped up all winter, and join us for our annual Spring Gathering at our beloved Camp Shehaqua! We're mixing things up a little this year!

First off, we've got an awesome staff lined up! Danny Angelino is my Assistant Director (we train them young ;)). Brooke Abrahams and Kyra Moyer are heading up our education. Jake Mas and Francis Marchitelli are our Adventure Team. And Naomi Parks, Ethan McKenna, Carolyn Bonini, and Joe Hinkle are our Music Crew.

In line with the Spring Gathering's adventure theme, our motto this year is "Breaking Free!". Life is about growing, using the opportunities that come our way to Break Free of the things that hold us back—our fears, doubts, worries, insecurities—so that we can achieve our fullest potential! Thus we are excited to introduce Shehaqua's first Challenge Obstacle Course, the perfect event to push the mind, body, and soul to the next level together with friends and family!

Who doesn't love music and the way it moves the soul? We're kicking off the spring with a rockin' live concert in the meadow! Featuring multiple acts, one headline band, and dancing. Enjoy the bonfire, s'mores, and games with family members of all ages. Bring your friends and family. See you there!

Struggling through classes and/or work? Need a break? The Shehaqua Spring Gathering is just around the corner! From May 17–19, we will have a retreat that is both stimulating and relaxing. This year we are switching it up, and staying at Camp Shehaqua for the entire workshop. There will be two tracks:. One set of activities will be designed for families with young children, and the other track is aimed at young adults. The theme of the workshop is "Dare to Live," and it will offer a challenging experience that will bring you closer to your peers.
