Shehaqua Family Camp Week 2: Monday, July 31, 2 p.m.–Sat, Aug 5, 11 a.m.
Camp Director: Daniel Hess
Education Director: Henri Rissanen
Sports and Activities Director: Tobi Rissanen

We want to become people who can bring light and hope to the whole world! That means there will be a lot of learning, a lot of bonding with God and our families in nature, and way too much fun! The theme for Week 2 is Building Families!

There will be old favorites like swimming, hiking, sports, crafts, family fun night, candlelight prayer and talent night and more, plus newer favorites like martial arts and archery. Like last year, week two will also feature, for an additional charge of $50 per participant, whitewater rafting for all ages young and old!

And new this year, paintball at Skirmish Paintball (skirmish.com) for young people ages 13 and up with a parent’s permission! Because of a great relationship with the outfitter, we are pleased to be able to offer, this year only, free passes for up to 44 participants!

(We encourage whole families to come to Camp Shehaqua, but kids often come with one parent, with grandparents, or sometimes are 'adopted' for a week with a family they know.)
